Stand-up paddle boarding, surfing, body boarding and fishing–these are the main water-based hobbies in our area. I await the day I can capture all four sports in one photo, but for now, two will have to do.
There’s a spot at the edge of Kotsubo Marina where the waves break just so, making it a popular spot for paddle boarders. The marina is also often lined with amateur fishermen and women.

I’ll have to dig out a photo of where we windsurf and try to capture SUPing, fishing, windsurfing & kiteboarding. It is difficult, because if it’s windy enough for windsurfing, it’s too choppy for SUPing. Beautiful photo–I love all the pictures you post!

Thanks! What a compliment! I’d love to see a photo of where you windsurf. Good luck capturing them all! I don’t think I’ve ever seen kiteboarding by us, but you never know what the next big thing will be. A few years ago, there were hardly any SUPers, but now, they’re out in the wildest weather in addition to the calm days.
