Roses are red... and pink, yellow, orange and white at the Kamakura Bungakukan's Rose Festival
Maple leaves hang down at the Kamakura Museum of Literature. The museum has beautiful, wide-open grounds, a rose festival in spring, and lots of small concerts and presentations throughout the year.
The grey just isn't stopping around here. And on top of it all, the U.S. is leading Japan 4-0. Oh, what a world! Gambare, Nippon!
The path up to the Kamakura Museum of Literature winds along under towering trees. At one point, it ducks under an old stone tunnel before continuing its slow climb up to the main building and gardens.
Rain, rain, go away...
