It’s easy to forget how different the most familiar places become at night.
I rarely find myself outside Kamakura Station in the dark, so it was a nice change to walk home after getting back from work in the early evening the other day.
At first, I kept my eyes on the prize—the grocery store—as after all, I was tired and it was cold. But I glanced back before turning down the street, and soon found myself scurrying back towards the station to take a picture.
I think I need to take more evening strolls through town.
