Public transportation upholstery choices don't usually make me smile, but the Enoden Line's cute seat covers are the exception. Tiny trains for a tiny train.
Photo of the Day: Blossoms
Slightly out of focus and fuzzy, but dreamy just the same. Whoa! Almost missed a day! Thank goodness for mid-afternoon memory boosts.
Photo of the Day: Floats
There's always something to photograph on the beach. Be it shells, boats, the sea itself—or these wee floats—something always catches my eye.
Photo of the Day: Evening Lantern
Lanterns are a dime a dozen in Japan, but that doesn't mean I'm tired of them. Quite the contrary. To me, lanterns are a warm, glowing light in the night that make me feel all home-y and comfortable. Photo of the Day: Dripping Petals
Again wi the cherry blossoms... Here they are in individual petals, almost like water dripping off a tree.

I just need a few more days to get it out of my system. These sakura were snapped from one of the upper floors of Odawara … Continue reading Photo of the Day: Seen From Above
Photo of the Day: Sakura Pink
Another cherry blossom photo—I can't help it! They're everywhere! Today, our neighbour took us on a trip to Odawara Castle down the coast. The castle area is famous for all sorts of flowers—cherry, wisteria, iris, hydrangea, etc. Beautiful!
