Photo of the Day: Windsurfing Lesson

Hisashi decided that surfing and SUP-ing weren’t enough—he had to give windsurfing a try.

There are a number of water-sport schools along Yuigahama Beach, but Hisashi had his eye on one instructor in particular, a fellow he’d watched teach others and thought seemed good. So, he headed over to Poerava Windsurfing and met with instructor Toru Sakai.

The verdict? If you find yourself in Kamakura and wanting a windsurfing, surfing or SUP lesson, Sakai-san is a fantastic choice. Though the wind was little more than a light breeze, and though the rain poured down for the first part, Hisashi thoroughly enjoyed himself and has already signed up for more.
