Just what are all these people waiting for, cameras in hand? Why, they’re waiting to get a shot of our most adorable little train with hydrangeas in the background.
This is at Goryojinja (Goryo Shrine – http://www.kanagawa-jinja.or.jp/search_dtl.php4?jid=398&cd=1205011). It’s a small shrine not far from Hasedera, one of the area’s main temples. Goryojinja is a very quiet and peaceful shrine… except during hydrangea season! The Enoden line tracks run through the entrance, making it a very popular spot to snap a photo.
